CHILDRENS'S PARADE
The Childrens' Parade is held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon. It is supported by the O'Fallon Rotary Club. Children are encouraged to participate, dressed in costume. Costume awards are given for various age and creativity categories. For more information concerning it please contact them.
O'FALLON HOMECOMING PARADE
The O'Fallon Homecoming Parade has always been one of the best local festival parades in the area. Ever year its floats have a particular theme that spark the imagination and architectural design of our local citizens, business, and clubs. Thanks to the many patrons who sponsor our floats, as well as the many bands, non-profit or civic organizations that fill our ranks, the parade is always a delight to festival attendees every year.
The theme for the parade for 2008 is Musicals! For information on building, entering, or sponsoring a float, please contact Dee Van Etten.
FLOAT SPONSORSHIPS: are $250
To be an entry in the parade (walkers, cars, marching bands, dancers, etc.) please contact Sharon Veale.
PARADE FEES:
POLITICAL CANDIDATES/ORGANIZATIONS:
1 candidate walking/ in car $250 to be in the parade.
(this can include his/her IMMEDIATE family (spouse & children). Additional people/cars will be charged $250 per person/vehicle.
1 or several candidates or organization all together on ONE FLOAT, FLAT BED TRUCK, BOAT (ANYTHING LARGE THAN A STANDARD CAR/VAN), $350 to be in the parade. Additional Floats (etc.) showing up will be charged $350/entry.
PAID ORGANIZATIONS:
All paid groups in our parade, must have a contract signed and obtained by our parade chairman in order to be paid. No Contract - no payment.
